Fleece blanket instructions can be found readily throughout the internet but the majority of them are very similar. Here is are some tried and tested fleece blanket instructions fro you to make a beautiful no sew fleece blanket for you or your loved one.

Before we begin we will need to get a few things together as follows:

2 pieces of fleece fabric
1 measuring tape or ruler
1 pair of sharp scissors.
A piece of chalk

Now there are a variety of places where you can purchase your fleece fabric from but I would first try your local market or if you don't feel like getting out and about you can actually order your material online.

I would suggest for appearance sakes that you buy 2 pieces of fleece that are different in pattern or perhaps you could buy one piece with a pattern on it and one with a plain solid color. This will make the appearance of the finished product look a lot better.

In general you would look to purchase about 2 meters or 3 yards of fleece for an adult and you can scale it back if the blanket is going to be used by kids or even toddlers.

Once you have your material it is simply a case of following these easy fleece blanket instructions.

Lay out both pieces of fleece on the floor, one on top of the other.

Mark out a 5 inch square on all four corners of the fleece

Take your sharp scissors and remove the 5 inch square from all four corners of the fleece.

Now you want to take your ruler or tape measure and along all 4 sides of the fleece blanket, mark 5 inch slits about 1 inch apart.

Once you have marked all the slits you need to take your scissors and cut along all of the marked slits ensuring that you cut through both layers of the fleece material.

Now after you have completed that you simply need to tie each piece of fringe together (slit that has been cut) using a simple over hand knot. Make sure that you tie one fringe then miss one fringe. Repeat this all around the fleece blanket.

Now turn the blanket over and tie the remaining fringes together. We do this so the final product will look better.

And there we have it, once we have followed these easy fleece blanket instructions all you have left to do is snuggle up to it!

Quick Tip #1

Make sure that you never wash your Fleece products in hot water. You should only wash it in 30 to 40°C or else you will risk damaging the material

Quick Tip #2

polar fleece is made by twisting fibre into yarns, which are then knitted into another fabric. This fabric is then vigorously brushed to loosen up some of the fibres which then gives you the fuzzy look that is often associated with Fleece products.
